1 Website and service provider

These terms govern the use of ires.edu.pl, including its English version, and the contact form provided on the website.

The service provider is Maciej Garczyński, a sole trader operating under the business name Brunavarna Maciej Garczyński, ul. Fryderyka Chopina 43, 58-371 Boguszów-Gorce, Poland, tax identification number (NIP) 7962679760, business identification number (REGON) 145161587, referred to below as the “Service Provider”.

These terms are available free of charge and can be read, saved and printed using your browser. We will also provide them by email on request sent to our contact address.

2 Services provided

The website allows you to browse information about iRES, its team, training areas, modules and services, and to submit enquiries using the contact form. These functions are free of charge. Your internet access costs are governed by your agreement with your internet provider.

The website does not automatically sell training or reserve places. Sending the form does not place an order, reserve a date or, by itself, create a training contract. Training content, dates, prices and other conditions are agreed separately with the client before a training contract is concluded.

Training and service descriptions provide information and invite enquiries, unless a particular statement expressly says otherwise. These website terms do not replace the conditions applicable to a specific training course.

3 Technical requirements and security

To use the website, you need an internet-connected device and an up-to-date browser supporting standard web technologies and encrypted HTTPS connections. Some interactive features use JavaScript and may be limited if it is disabled. A working email address is needed to receive a reply to an enquiry.

Internet use carries risks, including malicious software and attempts to obtain information by deception. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date, checking the address of the website you visit and keeping login details private. The contact form is not intended for passwords or payment details.

The Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies, their purposes and how to manage them.

4 Starting and ending use

Use of the information service begins when you visit a website page and ends when you leave it. Use of the contact form begins when you start completing it. You can stop before sending your message by leaving the page.

The contact-form service ends when the submission attempt has been processed and its result displayed. If an error occurs, you can retry as instructed or contact us directly. Subsequent correspondence takes place outside the form.

5 Enquiry rules

Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Information should be accurate and limited to what is needed to handle the enquiry. You should be entitled to use the email address provided and to share the information in your message.

The form is not intended for medical records, health information or other special categories of personal data. If arranging training requires separate arrangements concerning such information, please contact the Service Provider first without sending that information.

You must not submit unlawful content, spam or malicious software, impersonate others, infringe third-party rights, disrupt the website or bypass its safeguards.

The form uses safeguards against abuse, including a limit on submission attempts. An appropriate message is displayed if an attempt is rejected. The Service Provider may restrict access to a function to the extent necessary to address abuse or remove a security threat.

6 Materials and intellectual property

Website materials describe training activities. They do not replace practical training, qualifications required for particular tasks or an individual assessment of a real rescue situation. The website and contact form are not emergency reporting channels. In Poland, emergencies should be reported on 112; medical emergencies can also be reported on 999.

Text, photographs, illustrations, marks, animations and other materials may be protected by copyright or other rights. Using the website does not transfer those rights to you. Materials may be used within applicable statutory exceptions; other uses require a legal basis or permission from the rights holder.

7 Availability and liability

The Service Provider seeks to maintain the website’s proper operation. Maintenance, updates, failures or security work may cause interruptions or restrictions. If the form is unavailable, you can contact us directly by email or telephone.

The Service Provider’s liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or the rights of consumers and other persons entitled to statutory protection.

8 Website complaints

You can send a complaint about the website or contact form to biuro@ires.edu.pl or by post to the Service Provider’s address. Please provide contact details for a reply, a description of the problem and, where possible, the page address and the date of the problem. Not providing additional technical information does not remove your right to complain.

We will reply within 14 days of receiving the complaint, by email or in writing as appropriate to the contact details provided. We may request clarification where necessary; this does not restart the response period or limit your statutory rights.

These arrangements concern services provided through the website. Complaints about the delivery of booked training are separate and are governed by the relevant law and training contract.

9 Personal data

The Privacy Policy and Contact Form Privacy Notice explain how personal data are processed. The Cookie Policy explains the storage of and access to information on your device. These documents are available in the website footer.

10 Changes and language versions

These terms may change following changes to website functions, the Service Provider’s details, service delivery, security requirements or the law. A new version will be published with its effective date. Changes apply to website use after they take effect and do not affect accrued rights or the terms of training contracts already concluded.

This document is available in Polish and English. Both versions describe the same rules. Any discrepancy must be resolved in accordance with the provision’s purpose and applicable law and cannot limit your statutory rights.

Polish law applies to matters not covered by these terms. This choice of law does not deprive a consumer of protection under mandatory provisions that would apply without that choice.
