Ask about trainingDifferent team responsibilities. One patient and the need for a shared plan.
An EMS team may arrive before the fire service or join an operation already underway. In either case, it needs to assess conditions, establish safe working options and share information that helps organise further assistance.
The course takes cooperation from the initial scene assessment through to patient handover: communicating needs, agreeing priorities, preparing for release and maintaining continuity of care. We examine the points where medical and technical decisions affect one another.
